DATABASE: Programmed into the scales memory are 999 of the most commonly used American unpackaged foods (the various cuts of beef and other meats, various types of seafood, and a wide variety of grains, fruits, dairy products and vegetables). Foods contained in the EatSmart Food Code Booklet are based on recommendations in the 2005 USDA Dietary Guidelines for Americans.
